" There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
Maya Angelou
Stories of Hope Counseling brings two of the most powerful healing tools we have as a humanity – storytelling and hopefulness. Storytelling is proven to help people overcome their trauma, tragedies, difficulties and times of despair, and has been used for thousands of years. The way we experience our life and respond to the crises and victories are the stories we live. The stories that other people tell about us can also be what defines our life. We sometimes are stuck in a story that we even lose sight of who is telling it and where it is going. A story can become an unbearable weight and extinguish our hopes as we lose the sense of power that it is our story and we are the ones creating it.
What is your story?
You are the author of your story, and can create and recreate the pages of your life as you wish. When we share our stories, they become real, they are no longer in our head. Nobody can deny their existence once they are told.
I am here to listen to your story, and empower you to take ownership. Please reach out to me if you feel stuck in your life, and seem to have little hope that it can be different. Together we can find hope, strength and courage to heal and, if needed, to begin a new chapter.
My goal is for you to tell your story with confidence, to proudly share it, and know that you can change it.
I provide clinical supervision to therapists working towards full licensure. Additionally, I provide consultation for licensed therapists interested in relational therapy or starting private practice. I am an AAMFT approved supervisor. Please contact me at Stories of Hope Counseling about availability for this group

When we own the story, we can write a brave new story."
